What happened with the manuscript was just terrible and rude and I am respecting Stephanie Meyer by not reading it until it is complete.

I think she should, because by not completing it she would just be admitting defete but I don't think she will...either way, if she hadn't have posted it to the official websites I wouldn't have read it either, but she did and I figure it is the only chance we are going to get.

She did just start out so this problem arising is new for her so I can understand her depression on the whole thing. But now that she knows that things like this happens, she'll be well prepared just in case of next time.

Of course, as an artist you always need to be prepared for this kind of thing to happen, and I think she needs to pick up her pencil (or whatever) and finish the book, for herself. Even if she never publishes it, I still think she needs to finish what she started, regardless of what happened to her...Either way though, I suppose she should do what she thinks is best for her.

It's pretty low that someone would do that. I just can't believe someone she trusted that highly leaked information that important to her.

Im excited for me and my friends cosplaying as the Cullens, Bella, and Jacob. Its gonna be lots of fun. We're going to eat dinner in our attire and have a small photoshoot before we go to the theatre.

I think the only reason why this movie got so much attention is because younger girls (and boys) found Edward to be 'amazingly sexy'.

2008-12-09 [Alexi Ice]: Which wasnt true at all...he was gross..and his hair was dorky. I thought Jasper was perfect for the role, but he was the only one who seemed to 'click' with the character. Probably because you only saw him a few times.

She sold her rights, so even though she was there, she had absolutly no say in what they did to her book. No author should EVER sell their rights. Not to mention the movie was done by an 'independant' filmaker, on a budget of less than nothing, so all and all it wasn't so bad, all things considered.

What bugged me was when I went to see the movie, there were all these teeny bopper girls squeeling and talking through the entire movie, ruining the experiance. They are only fans because its a fad. That's what also upset me about some fans on Harry Potter. The only reason they like it is because its a fad, NOT because of its story and significance.

I mean sure I have my fan girl moments but at least Im not psycho about it. I was a fan of Twilight and Harry Potter BEFORE it got so popular and grew a giant fan base.

Give the Twilight movie a chance. Of course its not going to have EVERYTHING. Its based on the book, not exactly the book. Keep in mind that making a movie takes time and effort and money to create. If they used every single word and event of the book, that would be plagerism unless its Stephanie herself writing the script.

Now, this is my opinion on the subject. You dont have to agree. But please respect my opinion and I'll respect yours.

And yeah, Rob is ugly, but he was a good actor. The funny parts of the story made it a little better than the books in my opinion, it needed a little comic releif.

I don't understand why Stephanie Meyer would sell her rights. If I was offered lifetime supply of money, I wouldn't sell it. I worked hard on making what it became and I'm going to work hard on pleasing my fans to my full extent.

There was no need to rush into making a movie. I mean, it gets you fast money, but it's the art (if she's truly dedicated) that counts. I don't see a point to it if it's not tasteful. I would've tried to help find some mature adults to help pick the actors and actresses. It would in that way be viewed from actual fan views.


FYI, I was watching the premiere and the girly that played Alice mentioned being a fan before even auditioning for the movie.

Oh, they announced the new director for New Moon. He directed About a Boy and The Golden Compass. Now, even though Golden Compass sucked ass, About a Boy was great. And he is dead set on making sure New Moon keeps to the book's glory.

Billy Black was perfect.
I pictured Charlie more like Dennis Quade, if I spelled his name right.
I was surprised Tyler was black, but oh well, lol.
Mike was a good dork.
And Jessica is what I expected.

I think they could've deepened the love story bit of it more. But, I still was emotional through it.

Charlie was funny and Billy Black was awesome.

This is only the first round. Once New Moon gets off the ground and worked on, Im sure things will be great. Hell they are going all the way to Italy to shoot the awesome "stop Edward's suicide" race scene. OOH Let's think about how awesome the Volturi will be <3

Its about this 12 year old boy, who is often bullied at school, who meets a '12' year old girl, who is a vampire. They keep to old vampire folk lore like, for example, the vampire has to be asked in or she cant get in.

Its an amazing movie. You all should definately see it!

Taylor did a great job as Jacob and I would be very sad if he didnt get to stay for New Moon. He really wants to do New Moon and has worked hard to gain weight (in muscle) to get the part.

Well, whatever decision they make, we should have faith in that decision. I mean look what happened when Twilight was first cast. We all werent sure or didnt approve at first but once we saw the movie, we were happy and content. So let's hope the studio makes a good decision.
